We are a training and enrichment business for dogs and their people! After all these years of training and leash walking it’s clear to me that dog hiking—off leash—seems to resolve attention seeking behaviors more than anything. It makes sense of course but most people think their dog needs training when what they really need is a space to cut loose and be a dog! Turns out it makes training easier too! Like giving kids recess so they can actually focus on algebra. Balance is key and even though I’ve been a trainer for a million years, I see the most behavior shifts when dogs get regular cardio with their puppy friends. Fresh air and wookie zoomies are magic for creating calm dogs in our human homes.
